Our Story
New Hope began as a church plant out of the 1st Alliance Church in Port Charlotte. Following years of growth and ministry, the impact of a pastor change and Covid severly impacted the church. Hurricane Ian severely impacted the renewal and the church recoved from massive damage. Building partnerships with outher church enabled the rebuild and paved the way to renewed focus on the kingdom. We are New Hope Community Church. We want people to discover the hope, emabrace the hope and share the hope with others. JOIN US FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER.

Pastor Bruce and Cheryl Rzengota
Pastor Bruce and Cheryl Rzengota have have been married 40+ years and have been ministering side by side through out their journey most of that time has been with the Christian and Missionary Alliance. They have embraced numerous hobbies and activites theough out the years form snow skiing to ball room dancing. Arriving just before IAN hit, the have dug in and built partnerships enabling the New Hope to press on into the furute.
