We believe in planting healthy, missional churches that reproduce. New Hope is a young church, but we are also committed to helping other new churches get started. We will be a church planting church. Our hope is to have a team of FIVE potential church planting resident interns living in our City with us all the time. Our vision is to focus on starting new churches by reproducing leaders, small groups, campuses and churches. PURSUE YOUR CALLING at New Hope as we are currently accepting applications for our 2020 Church Planting/Leadership Internships Experience which is a leadership immersion experience for those desiring to serve on staff in a missional church and learn skills, character and theological training. The internship is 15-20 hours per week for either one or two years with interns raising support. We’re searching for up to 3 to 5 interns of the most passionate and gifted people (ages 18 and up) to join in our intern experience.

If all you’re looking for is a great paying job with benefits, this isn’t the place for you. But if you’re interested in being a part of an incredible move of God, if you want to see Him use you in ways you never imagined, working here is one of the highest privileges you’ll ever experience.

It’s a calling. It’s a privilege. And above all, it’s a chance to be empowered. We have no desire to raise up a generation of great coffee makers. We want to raise up a generation of world changers and leaders. People who are awakened to the God-given potential inside of them to make an impact for the glory of God using whatever gifts God has placed inside of them.

Thank you for your interest in applying for this role at New Hope. Please forward your resume, with a cover letter and a one minute video sharing why you desire this role. Because, New Hope is committed to training future church leadership through an internship program that exposes candidates to real-time experiences in day-to-day ministry. Interns will gain experience in practical theological development, church planting foundations, leadership, as well as self-designed areas of focus. The internship program compliments a seminarian’s academic journey and provides practical experience and continuing education for people who are considering full-time ministry as a second career. This is a position for people who want to be in career ministry and be on a church planting team or possibly lead a start-up church in the future. Work will include starting groups for non-Christians and possibly a worship service down the road. You will be mentored by a seasoned church planter. If you do not want to be a part of or start a church or have an aversion to hard work and risk then this is not for you! Rev.
